Do books have souls?
If an author dies, do parts of them live on inside books—on the surface of the page like an eternal memory?
A loop… a recording. Their innermost thoughts on repeat?

What if humans live through words after they’re gone?
What even counts as living? Does it require a heartbeat? A body? Can paper be alive?
Are books dead artifacts or living ones?

The systems are breaking. Power is shifting. Knowledge is the new currency.
Pluto, planet of transformation, moves into Aquarius from 2024 to 2043.

capitalism and rest
Doom scrolling: numb to the constant flood of breaking news.
Overworked. Underpaid.
This stage of capitalism makes you feel guilty for resting.
But maybe rest is the most radical thing you can do.
Maybe the best thing is to lie down.
Take a nap. Dream again.
James Baldwin once said, “I don’t dream of labor.”
I take a lot of breaks. I need them to stay creative.
Art is a form of resistance. And this system was never designed to support it.
